Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy is an innovative and promising approach in regenerative medicine. PRP promotes tissue healing by releasing a large amount of growth factors from platelets in the treated area. It stimulates collagen, elastin and cellular growth, as well as improving local blood supply and hydration.

How is PRP performed
A sample of the clients blood is taken by our highly trained medical professional. Usually as little as 20mls. It will be placed into a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells and white blood cells from the platelets which are collected in the plasma layer.
The freshly produced platelet-rich plasma is expertly injected into the problem areas the skin using a ver fine needle, or a small micro needling device may be used for the remaining plasma, there may be slight swelling and a warm during treatment and a warm sensation. A few days post treatment the client may experience mild swelling, redness and bruising.
The coming days the growth factors are released to rejuvenate and restore the skin.
For maximum results we recommend a series of PRP treatments, normally three to four sessions spaced four weeks apart. the stimulation of collagen takes around 12 weeks, therefore the improvement will not be instant but seen though time. These positive effects build up over the weeks and months and last fir approx two years.
